Helping nonprofits bring their missions online with care, clarity, and consistency

I help mission driven organizations strengthen their online presence and turn it into community connection.

I work with nonprofits, organizations, and small teams doing meaningful work but without a full-time tech or web person on staff. That’s where I come in, helping your team manage, update, and improve your website so it actually supports your goals instead of getting in the way.

For the past six years, I’ve been part of the behind-the-scenes team for organizations across California and throughout the U.S., keeping their websites up to date, designing new pages or entire sites, improving accessibility, and integrating tools like CRMs and donation systems.

My story

How I Got Here

Before all this, I was already deeply involved in community work, volunteering, organizing, and leading projects focused on equity and access. Over time, I saw how many organizations struggled not because of a lack of vision, but because of technical barriers: outdated websites, disconnected tools, and limited digital support.

Already involved in tech, I realized that my skills could make a bigger difference supporting the kinds of organizations I already cared about. So I chose to stay in the nonprofit space, helping teams improve their websites, modernize their tools, and bridge technology gaps.

Today, I find web design especially fulfilling because it brings together what I enjoy most: learning and applying new technology, exploring creativity through design, and helping organizations communicate their stories and strengthen their connection with their communities.

Why I Focus on Nonprofits

Working with nonprofits just makes sense to me.

I love the variety of people and missions I get to collaborate with, from cultural organizations, to youth empowerment groups, to community land trusts.

Each project gives me a chance to learn something new, and to contribute to work that genuinely matters.

Even if my part is “just” the website, I see it as part of a bigger ecosystem of change.

How I Work

I work as an extension of your team, not just as a one-off contractor. That means I stay connected with your goals, your systems, and your rhythm of work.

When you partner with me, you get someone who:

Understands how nonprofits operate and what internal capacity looks like.

Communicates clearly and respectfully with your team.

Offers flexible, ongoing support instead of one-time “launch and leave” projects.

Helps you plan for the long-term health of your website.

Can explain tech in plain language, no jargon required.

I’m the web designer you can count on to bring new ideas to life and keep your site evolving with your work.

A Few Organizations I’ve Worked With

My Values

Collaboration

Good websites are built in partnership. I see myself as part of your team, not just a service provider.

Clarity

I believe technology should empower, not overwhelm. My role is to simplify what’s complicated and make things easy for your team to manage.

Equity

I choose projects that align with community well-being, access, and justice. That’s where my heart is and always will be.

Growth

I care about progress, not perfection. My goal is to help your website evolve as your organization does.

Outside of Work

When I’m not designing or troubleshooting something web related, you’ll usually find me with my dog, Xoco, training, running, or finding new ways to keep her active. I’m also a regular at my local CrossFit gym, it helps me stay centered and feel good, both physically and mentally.

Beyond that, I enjoy listening to audiobooks on personal growth, entrepreneurship, and how things work behind the scenes. I also love cooking at home, taking on small projects around the house, and visiting friends and family across California.

Let’s Work Together

If your team needs a reliable web designer and digital support partner — someone who understands your mission and sticks around after launch — let’s connect.
